Every year, more and more bees are lost to genetically modified crops, pesticides, pollution, and habitat loss. Bees pollinate our planet, and if we don’t stop their declining population, our harvests would be affected and ultimately we could be faced with famine!

So as you can see, bees are valuable and even though the situation may seem dire, there are things you can do to help halt the decline and get things buzzing in the right direction.

If you ditch pesticides and herbicides you'll be doing your part in cutting back on chemicals harmful to your local bees. There are other natural remedies you can use instead, such as white vinegar, soapy water and epsom salts. This will be covered in another Blog, sometime soon.

There are many plants you can grow that will attract and help sustain bees. Some plants that are pictured here, are loved by bees. Click on each picture to find out a little more about each of them. Also there are many more in our Shop look for this symbol 🔆 to know which plants they are attracted to for their nectar.
